To Delete Nominal Accounts

Note: You can only delete a nominal account when the balance is zero and it has no history of transactions, i.e. no transactions exist in the transaction log. Also, you cannot delete Control Accounts. The Delete button will be deactivated if any of these conditions are not met.

1. Select the nominal account or accounts you wish to delete from the Nominal Ledger window list-box.

2. From the Nominal Ledger window, click Delete.

The Delete Record window appears.

3. To delete the record, click Yes, or to cancel the deletion click No.

You can also delete a nominal account by clicking Delete on the Nominal AccountÆs Record window itself.
